Hooray! We’ve arrived at the Yorkshire Festival of Cycling at Harewood House near Leeds and as they would say here in Yorkshire, ‘by heck it’s windy!

We’re all ready for what promises to be an amazing weekend and we’re ready to watch the Grand Depart leaving from Harewood House tomorrow morning. It all officially kicks off in a matter of minutes at 2.00pm but there’s lots of buzz around the place already. Tents are pitched, caravans are all set and there are so many different types of bikes and riders. My two little one were thrilled by the Pennyfarthing they saw while we sat munching on some lunch.Sadly, there’s little mobile reception so I may not get the opportunity post too many pictures via twitter over the weekend but rest assured I will be taking plenty – I will post a round up of the festival once we’re back home and have a reliable signal. Currently, I’m perching in the press office to send you a little update and to tell you how it all looks. Once the clock strikes two we’re heading into the family area to explore what fantastic things are on offer to get children enthusiastic about cycling…and of course, I’m looking forward to a spot of shopping in the exhibitors area!! Perhaps a new jersey or two!

We’re huge Team Sky fans in our house and my daughter has her lovely Sky blue supporter shirt ready for the Grand Depart. Sky has today released a video showing a host of its top on-screen sports presenters and pundits wishing luck Team Sky ahead of the Tour de France. I’d like to join them. We can’t wait to cheer everyone on in the morning at the start line. Good luck to everybody, but personally Team Navarro will be cheering on Team Sky for the men’s race! I, on the other hand, can’t wait for the women’s race, La Course
